About Terra Nova Ecovillage
Our Mission
Terra Nova Ecovillage is dedicated to fostering sustainable living practices through innovative research and community engagement. We aim to create a model ecovillage that promotes environmental stewardship, education, and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Support from the public, government, academia, and business sectors is vital to our success.
Founding Principles
There are four main founding principles that guide Terra Nova Ecovillage. These principles are structured into our articles of incorporation.
Our Story
Terra Nova Ecovillage is a not-for-profit, community based, grass-roots initiative. In 2020 a council was created to oversee the project and determine its strategy and direction. The council members were selected based on their areas of expertise (education and work experience) and span many fields from Engineering to Education.
